Well warring tribes would be interesting, especially if it involved a Guerrilla style warfare (I mean it would be a nice break from COD/CS:GO - the usual). But some "hardcore" fans might not be down for that, people might claim it ruins the 'integrity of the Na'vi spiritual message' or something But I wouldn't mind c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶I̶'̶m̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶a̶n̶a̶r̶c̶h̶i̶s̶t̶ cause it would be something different/ not really done yet. I mean go on, I challenge you to name 5 games where you fight as tribal aliens in a "rain forest" (not a very good summary of Avatar but you get the point).

Personally it would be better if James Cameron worked on the game as the creative director or something, because although I didn't play the Avatar game I could tell from walkthroughs that it looked like trash and a lot of things were made up and conflicted with things in the film. My reason in saying this, is that if an Avatar game were to be made with James Cameron's intentions in mind then having different "races" of Na'vi warring would be out of the question. In the 'Making of' book on Avatar, Cameron said that there are no different races of the Na'vi because he wanted to avoid the idea of 'racism' in his 'Utopian' world (i'm wording this
really badly - but I can't be bothered to screenshot the passage from the book) . So any way that's something to keep in mind.

If things were to get really crazy, then Cameron did mention that there were other lifeforms/intelligent species on the other planets in the 'Alpha Centauri' system. So heck maybe some intergalactic Star wars could kick things up a notch but that would be seriously reaching a bit

Anyway I hope I didn't misunderstand your question

Personally since Avatar is about being environmentally friendly then perhaps we could get some mutated animals from the humans pollutants that we have to battle, or maybe a team game where the team that collects the most rubbish in the time period wins. IM JOKING!!!!!!!!!!

Or am I?
