Hurrican Irma and Orlando

What the title says; how will this affect the meetup?

EDIT: Created a similar thread on LN

If there is damage, remember that there are 57 days until the event. We'll be more sure only after Irma has passed.

Our thoughts go out to all those impacted by Hurricane Irma and we stand ready to help our community recover.

Our destination saw relatively minor damage overnight involving fences, trees, signage and building facades. We are hard at work inside our parks and we can confirm an on-time opening for Tuesday at 9am for Universal Studios, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay. In addition, we can confirm that our Halloween Horror Nights event will begin as scheduled this Friday.

Knowing that Universal Orlando is not far from WDW, I presume that WDW is also safe and sound.

The official account of Sea World (don't throw rocks) also says it has very minor damage.

It looks like they weathered it pretty well, I hope that the rest of florida and its people can recover and put this thing behind them as fast as possible but its going to be a long haul for some. I was nervous for a bit though( more so for the hotel as I figured Disney plans decently for the possiblity of Hurricanes, but I wasnt sure how wind resistant the hotel was, but since they never got gusts over 75-80 mph in that area(still a strong wind) I assume everything should be able to be delt with by the time the meet is in that area anyway, hopefully no more Hurricanes.

I can confirm as a local, Mo'ara is safe. Was out there today. Some very minimal damage, a small newly planted tree or two went down.
