I'm on the fence about this one. I think purring would push the animal a little to far. Sure it would be cute but I think hearing a lovers breath beside me would be the best thing in the world. Hearing her pur would remind me of my cat who leaves messes in the litter-box.

That's just my view on it.

It's a neat concept. I'm fine without it but it would be intersting to hear scenes with purring.

Maybe they know how to purr, because the first time you see Seze in the movie, Neytiri makes that weird call noise. So the capabilities they have when it comes to making noises is beyond ours.

Besides...don't cats purr to communicate pleasure/satisfaction (and from what I've heard, sometimes pain)? The Na'vi have words....they would just say nice things to each other if they were in that kind of situation......
