C. Seems unlikely to me, to be honest. I'm sure there are people who share firstnames with characters from fiction all over the place, or have ones that were inspired by it.
D. There are very few people in the world with a 100% unique name.

A. I was thinking of people who walk into an interview and the interviewer thinking "What kind of a name is that???"
B. IRL friends in terms of close *in-person* personal acquaintances.
C. And in some of those cases, I would have to think some of those people became resentful of that. Certainly not everyone, but why risk it?
D. No, but if you met someone named John Smith, you wouldn't think he is named after someone like you would if you met someone named John Fitzgerald Kennedy Smith.
I get a laugh when some of my IRL friends call me Crickett instead of my real name, but in truth, I think I actually kind of like that. But I gave myself that name.
