I have always wondered, how do you think Tsu'tey lost that missing chunk out of his ear? Childhood incident, hunting trip or perhaps a scuffle with the soldiers/RDA? Thoughts or views?

I hadn't noticed that little slice/hole below the notch in his ear until just now. Interesting. Well, if something took a bite out of his ear, it doesn't appear to have been a very large animal... Hmmm...

I think that is a remnant of Iknimaya or after a hunt. Neytiri also has a small mysterious scar under the eye.

Hmm, not sure. I would say that Neytiri's is simply everyday 'wear and tear' hey, it's a rough world out there, on Pandora.

As for tsutey's though, it's hard to say... It could be a similar thing to Neytiri... He IS a warrior after all, and there's the old saying of "He's been in the wars"

It seems as either a bullet wound, or the remains of an animal bite. Either way, it'd hurt pretty bad for Tsu'tey.

It might have been a near miss from the marines at the school based on the shape being quite clear, while a cut that cause part of it to be lost would be more of a section. Alternatively, it could have been a bite from a very big animal tooth, I guess, but then his escaping and surviving is harder to explain.

It would make much more sense if it was a bullet wound, especially regarding his extreme contempt for humans.

I vote bullet wound.

I vote him getting bitten by something. Hell, could even be one of the deer things. To me, it's not neat enough to be a bullet-wound, and they are hunters - I'd be surprised if the Na'vi DIDN'T get scars and wounds from what they do.
