Default Why was Mo'at refered to as the 'Dragon Lady'?

I never seen this being raised, so I'm doing it now.

Also, is there any info on her age? Just curious

Even Eltu heard that, since he refers to it.

According to IMDB it was Jake that said that.

At a guess he meant that she was stern, controlling but powerful.

Eltu might mean more like MILF

The Na'vi culture has a matriarchal examples in its leadership structure ,, (in reflection to the "clan mothers" role in some native leadership circles) probably where the reference came from and that's probably why the reference there.. this structure example is reflected in the real history of first peoples , Take the example actions of clan mother Jigonsaseh" (notice her nations symbol on her forehead) then reflect on how Mo'at addressed Jake , will show example of this structure below .. But remember the Na'vi also have some royalty linage examples in there culture that do not exist I n the society of Haudenosaune cultural identity at all, more like the examples of Polynesian or Central American peoples ,, like the Olmec and Mayan's (there peoples clan name is Omaticaya)

The "role" of the Clan mother in United Eastern Lenape Nation

Russell Means (Lakota) talks about women/matriarchy (he is in error over the Buddha being a "male god"

Avatar's story reflects a number of these structures in its perception examples . How the Na'vi see the world around them.
