Smile Some new poetry of mine

I used to frequent the Poetry board quite a lot, and I've still been writing quite a bit of the sort lately, so I felt like sharing with the community here at ToS. Tell me how you think!

A poem for my fiances, and a simple poem on the topic of existentialism.

Flowers crumpled where he walked, and so did she
The trees withered as he smoked, and so did she
When nothing was left standing
He'd fancy it something dandy
He desired more a pyre
Than a plea

Thistles sprouted where she walked, and so did he
Birds sang and danced with her, and so did he
But when desire took him
And the fire grew to loving
She'd say "First I had a fire
Met with glee"

They walked and sang together, so did they
Fell and sunk in despair, so did they
And when it was all over
When the wind had blown away
There was only life and death
And they were free

"Child, lover, thief"
One of my latest, darker poems, a broken sonnet highlighting a relationship between humankind and Earth

Fear the humans' hand, but soft
Take and kiss it as a king, a lover
Bear it in your own as a child, to a mother
Yet never hold it from your own, 'loft
You are I, and I, you
Do not shy from temptation
Fire will cure your hesitation
Loving, burning, smother and anew
Do not think or give me reason
Never tire, never grieve
This leash makes you mine
My heat brings you a cloudy season
And yet, enduring, a smile you weave
So there we drew the line

Ants and a hill, tear out the rime
Leave you bare and feed the hive

"Random Haikus"
Enough said
The falcon swoops twice
River of uncertainty
From worm's beck and call

Fly eternally
Touch the apex of the clouds
Lest fall like the rain

Fire in her heart
A shell of ice around it
To and fro, human

Painful sun, bright sun
Show me not your light, but dark
Every bit as blinding

Dark moon, haunting moon
Assail me the tales of stars
Guide me, entrap me!

Warm Earth, tender Earth
Feed little machinations
Tempt one and all, sweet!

I don't often read poetry or generally appreciate it that much, but I think the first one is especially beautiful. Really well done. Also, are you engaged? Congratulations if so.

Hey, I really admire your work. great poets.
So many things to say, so little space.

Just trust in nature and yourself.
