Doubt it. People who hate Avatar will bash people who do see, and even if they felt the things, they'd probably squash the feelings and not admit to them.

Interesting thought. I'm not sure. If someone Saw even before they saw Avatar, you would think they would at least sympathize with those in Avatar and relate to it's message, even if they wouldn't be someone who you'd consider a fan of it (Thom Hartmann, Evo Morales, other liberal thinkers). If someone hates Avatar, they usually hate the message as well (Glenn Beck, Alex Jones, etc).

Thats a pretty big generalization.

There are people who hated avatar and don't actively bash it.

I'd say yes. Avatar is, after all, a piece of entertainment first and foremost.

Yes they can, and those people are sorry souls. I mean, there is a message of living your life and so much more to this fine tale; they probably wouldn't want to live it anymore, like their fatigued about something.

Hate is quite a specific feeling. Im sure they're people out there who just weren't impressed by the movie but still See.

Or thought it was terrible. But dont attack it. They just say, "saw it, hated it" for various reasons.

I agree...

Seeing is more than just a few simple feelings... It's really waking up in a way that I think would actually be incompatible with disliking Avatar.

"Seeing", as you call it, existed long before avatar. Its a movie, not everybody's going to like it.

This has no bearing on how they feel about human evolution, or environmentalism.

Yes, but the entire feeling of Seeing is just so similar to Avatar's message, that I really think anyone who does will understand the message.

No. Its just a means for some people to discover it.

They can still think it was a terrible movie. Trust me on this one. Like I said, I know quite a few who feel that way.
