Default The "Haven't seen the SE release yet, but BADLY WANT TO" thread

Ok there's all these SE threads on here that's making me jumpy! When I found out it was going to be re-released locally to me too, I just flipped! I couldn't run out and go see it as I already had my days booked this weekend, but I'm dying to.

So for all those people who haven't seen it yet, what's going through your head?

For me, I'm wondering who to go with. Sigh. I'm the only Avatar nerd I know T___T. I don't think I'll go in costume for that reason alone, or I might wear my bodysuit under regular clothes, like a shirt and pants, haha! But it would be less weird if I had someone with me to back me up, XD.

And in a desperate attempt, if anyone is in the south ontario area who wants to go see it, I'll go with you

Haven't seen it either. Haha, sometimes I laugh just thinking about it. I've been an active member of two fan-forums for a movie I saw once in January.

I'll probably go see it sometime this week.

Hopefully.

I am with you Kaliko, I just moved away to college and the closest theater showing it is about 2 hours away. Everyone is saying it is so good, it is really killing me! I am also the only super Avatar fan I know, but i'm not really concerned about who to go with. Hopefully I can get my parents to take me when they come and pick me up to go home for the weekend in a few weeks. Will it still be playing then?

My dad said I can go, but I have to take someone. He's afraid I'll have a wreck or something. I really want to see it but I would rather see it alone.

No no, it's really BAD! Don't see it!! It's just pitiful! Horrible! Even EVIL!

...just to try and help the hype calm so people won't worry so much... and then freak out in theaters once they see how extraordinarily amazing it really is.

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to see it!

Sadly, it will most likely not show in Sweden at all, and I can't afford going to, say, London.

And I don't have a blu-ray player or even a TV - so I can't watch it at home either when the CE is released

This just sucks man There is still some hope left though... but I wouldn't put too much faith on it

I don't think I'll get a chance to see it until next Sunday at the earliest, so I'm REALLY TRYING to avoid all the spoilers. I might just have to stay off of this subforum for a week since a few of the thread titles already reveal more than I'd like to know.

But Eltu, wow, what an awful position to be in. Sorry to hear that.

I also haven't seen it yet. The nearest IMAX is 100km away from my town. Plus - the movie is still not there. It's only in 3D cinemas here, but I really want to see it in imax. So I guess I'll just have to wait. But that's not gonna be so easy.

If I could cross the border, I would go.

I'm sure there's somebody up there who posts around here that would want to team up.

Well I originally wanted to see the SE in an IMAX too, but yesterday when I was looking for tickets, I completely forgot and was just excited to see it in any way, shape form! So I saw it in regular 3D theatre, but still was teary-eyed, all over loving it!! So I would suggest seeing it in any way you can for the time being, and seeing the IMAX whenever you get the chance after

I did end up seeing the movie, and I was totally happy for it! Though for those still waiting, keep up the patience, it'll be worth it . And best of luck in finding a way there.

I didn't end up going with anyone, went alone in a matinee showing. I wore my costume under my clothes, in a relatively mild Avatar Nerd look
