Default Some things I noticed about Avatar, and some ?'s

First,
Did anyone notice the Ketsup in the bags

....and ive completly forgot the other ones...but, onto the ?'s

How did the Na'vi light a completely glass and metal AMP suit on fire???

How did Quaritch survive that jump in the AMP suit?

How did jake jump 30ft. into the air the pierce the AMP suit with the "bayonet"?

If the gunship had mini-guns, why didnt the AMP suits?

Oil and other flammable materials internally. Not nessicarily the structure itself burning.

Those things have enough servo's to absorb the shock without turning him into a pulp. He probably felt it though.

Low gravity.

Because Mini-guns are not armor piercing. Amp suits had APC sized weapons. Also, it'd be a bitch to aim on the ground.

How did the Na'vi get to the Internal stuff?
You can load armor piercing shells into a mini-gun

Your not going to be firing anti tank rounds out of a minigun.

And... AMP suits are not exactly armored. They had hoses and all kinds of internal systems out in the open.

It's fuel caught fire, unless it was just sitting there unpowered

By being in an AMP Suit

30 feet - what? lol - isn't that ~10m?
He climbed up a tree root, jumped over the AMPsuit (not hard for a Na'vi, especially with the height he jumped from, and brought it down with the help of gravity (not to mention being 4x as strong as a human)

They're converted industrial lifters, which have 30mm autocannons anyway.

That said, A minigun would be impractical even beyond considerations of how it would be mounted/used because it fires 4000rounds/minute. An AMPsuit can't carry that much ammo

Yeah, whoever designed those for combat was really an idiot.

This is why I dislike low bidders getting contracts. It really ****s over the people who actually need to use the gear.

He didnt climb up a tree root, he took a short run jumped (with 1 foot) 10 m (for HNM since he's british) into the air, holding a heavy piece of equipment.
That would be like us jumping 18 feet in the air (6m) holding a bowling ball. Low gravity or not I don't see it happening.

He pushed off a root. Lower gravity, he's also taller. And incredibly fit.

I took into account his height in my calculations, and Pandora's gravity is only what 25% lower than earths?

Pandora's gravity is .8 therefore its 20% less not 25%. Wich makes it highly unlikely that Jake could do that.

20 % less gravity...
