Yeah, I've had a few. In most of them I was watching the movie. But the movie in my dreams was always so different from the real one, and was so bad, that I felt a great disappointment watching it
![]() I also had a one or two dreams with Neytiri. In one of them, I was in my house and saw her through a window, as she was walking on my courtyard. I decided to go to her and... that's all I remember ![]() |

While I have written before in reflection to Dreams upon the film things like amasing experiences flying Ikrans or simply quietly waking through the forest with Neytiri voicing many deep questions with her, My dreams "also" touched upon some rather interesting paths of internal self discovery and internal self reflection (Given that Avatar is a mirror story film with some very deep source roots along with its connection to refection's upon the core value of Dreamers "voice" of expression and the importance of a shared "Dream" The film shares a common dream of expression some can recognize through ones ancestral memory's) kind of like being nudged down a multi branching path with a number eye opening alternate perceptions and rather emotional discovery's that built upon deep aspects voiced by the core of my "own" hearts voice , From a humble perspective I was internally driven to build and discover relations with the "feel" of the world around me as well as hundreds of hours of research in questioning the aspect roots of my own internal source code (This may be behind part of the experience of what some call Post Avatar Depression) these aspects drive the perspective "lens" "we see through" asking deep questions like what "seeds" did our people use in our the past to "justify" there actions, how can I come to recognize them ? Who where names of the very real people responsible for them,, What Structures did they put in place ? what are there influences today ? how can I calmly point them out through shared artistic example ? how have these sources been hidden in the pages of our peoples lesser known history ,, I also looked into the Expression and Community structures and deep history of our planets own "first peoples" and the roots of there story's by sitting down and listening to them first hand, how some (The Haudenosaunee being one prime example) where able to internally break the circle of conflit that lead to epic war among there own peoples long before Europeans ever arrived on the shores of North America and the deep values of this wisdom,, a lesson our people never learned .. the story continues to this day but its very hard to represent through text alone , I can suggest for those interested in "First peoples" and there use of shared "Dreams" to look at the Achuer in Ecuador and Peru I would not be at all surprised that The Na'vi have some of there reflective roots and expression from this place. the Na'vi seem familiar because of there deep reflected roots .. some internally recognize this and there is shared deep respect among this community for all who worked to bring the film to a Global audience and where we all are today.. actual unbidden dreams about avatar that aren't the result of me trying to put my mind in a specific mood are p rare to be honest
last time i had an honest to god full-on dream it was me travelling to pandora on a school bus piloted by bert and ernie and all the places i visited in the dream i was. in the form of my troll druid from WoW so i could turn into a bat and fly around and the na'vi kept trying to pelt me with arrows ![]() also everything felt really unreal. idk like everything drifted between looking like an actual living forest and looking the forest rooms in wonderland in the first kingdom hearts |

Oh heck yes. I haven't had much recently, but I definitely have Avatar dreams every now and then. Its either dreams of the sequels being out or me waking up in my Avatar and living with the Omaticaya clan!
I still remember one so vividly. I woke up in my Avatar body and I was walking up to Mo'at and having a conversation with her. Then it continued to sitting around the campfire and singing Na'vi songs together. It was so amazing!! |
