Default P.A.D Welcome home!

So, today i watched Avatar again, because i was sick, and i had the time to do it, so i did it! Two and a half hour later i was just sitting there.. And i could feel, nothing was important anymore. My mind was only thinking about Neytiri, and all the scenes, how can it only be a movie? so hard to see, neytiri must be here somewhere! i hope so.. started to get tears under my eyes, and just wanted to stop live anymore. I want to be one of the na'vis! And it can't be done here on earth. I need to find a place to find her, and all the na'vis.
Monday afternoon, sitting here, and i dont know what i should do.. i just want to run away in the night time, and wont return home again, i can't see why we have to go school, and make homeworks.. We should be free, like other creatures. I dont know with you guys, but i'm up for it! ****ty world!.

Yeah, i know exactly how you feel.. its so frustrating to know that we're trapped in this society when we should be out there, in nature, being what we're supposed to be. Its why so many people in today's society are depressed i think.. whether we know it or not, we are missing something that can't be replaced by money or technology. Avatar showed us (well it showed me at least) what we have lost, and its so sad because i know we are capable of that level of love and compassion - its just a shame our society holds us back.

Like you said, we should be free, like other creatures

The trick (in my opinion) is to find the kind of daily life that helps you break free from the things we've come to dislike. (Although it is hard, I'd like to believe that it can be done, either by living in a place that's closer to nature or by living differently where you already are. Again, it's not easy, but it's got to be worth it in the end.)

Either that, or take on the world's problems head-on!

EDIT: Have you seen what Fkeu'itan is doing, Oliver? I'm not saying it would be exactly like going to Pandora but it could be a good start in finding a different kind of life.

You're getting a free eduction, some people in the world are "free" of that. They're pretty miserable. Appreciate what you've got.

What makes a Na'vi a Na'vi?

Is it the blue skin? Is it the tail? The nose? The glowing freckles?

What about the way they view things? The way they see. The way they respect not just each other but all life around them. Their wisdom. Their courage. Their whole way of living.

The Na'vi culture has an entire paradigm - a whole way of seeing the world and its phenomena - deeply embedded into their society. On Earth, our society may struggle in some of these aspects. But you can adapt this way of seeing and break free. In essence, become a Na'vi in mind and spirit, like so many already have. And I believe, soon enough, you'll find that where you are is a trivial matter to who you are.

You can't say it's not physical either, because it is. It's not the only thing, but that IS part of it, and it IS important.
