Default continuity error

I have found what I think is a continuity error in the film.
For those who don't know, it's when between takes, something is moved out of place. In the scens where Jake 'captures' his ikran, you can see that his neural queue is in his right hand, and the ikran's left is in Jake's left. After tsaheylu, he goes to reach forward, and the link is inside his right hand. In the next scene, the link is now outside his right hand. As the ikran rises, the link is outside his left hand. And nowhere do we see any moving of his queue. Hmmmm.
Oversight?

Jake had his queue going round the left side of his body at first, but he linked it to his ikran's left queue, so it passes to the other side when he climbs on top.

He had it going across his body, but to end up where it did, it had to go around his head.

Ah, I get what you mean. Possibly one then, although then again, that could just be the answer, if I had done it that way then I would switch it around when I could so it wasn't obstructing my body.

Oooh i think your right. There are several other little continuity errors like that throughout the film - for example, when Jake is sat opposite Selfridge at that holographic map thingy, the position of his arms changes from shot to shot.

Ah well, the errors are so small it really doesn't matter that much.

Yeah I noticed that one! Not just me who looks for these things. One scene that really scews my head around is when Neytiri shows Seze for the first time and flyies around Home Tree, the direction of movement really fries my poor brain...cell!

I've noticed way too many besides these ones that I don't bother counting them But I know for a fact that the queue's position has almost always something to do with it. It can vary completely from shot to shot. Jake talking to Eywa, Jake riding the Pali for the first time...

There are mistakes in every movie, and it doesn't really make them that much less enjoyable.
