Default Collector's Edition script Q

I'm still going through the hours worth of material on the CE. I just started reading the original script from 1995. My question is regarding to saving spots or resuming the script after stopping. I'm not sure how many pages it is nor does it list page numbers so when I go to resume my reading at another time, I have to start at the beginning and flip through all the pages till I get where I left off. Is there a way to skip a bunch of pages or save it where you left off?

Anyone know how many pages there are?

So far the script is pretty interesting. It's a bit different from the movie but there are similarities.

I don't QUITE understand what you are saying - your sentences are a bit muddled - but my copy of the original scriptment is 114 pages long.

What I was trying to say is there a way to save where you left off so you can instantly come back later and resume reading instead of having to start at the very beginning and flip through every page till you come to the last page you read?

Depends on the format it's in -my copy is in a PDF, and sadly, no, there is no way to save - just write down the page number and then skip to it.

I'm speaking of the Collector's Edition Blu Ray disc.

I downloaded the script to Avatar in PDF a while ago but it wasn't the 1995 version. Is there a PDF of the 1995 script available for download? It might be easier to read it on the computer than on the blu ray disc.

thank!

Ah, I don't have blu-ray.

And yes indeed there is! I can't remember where I found it, but I could email it to you if you wanted?

Oh bummer. You should get it. It's AMAZING to watch it on blu ray, not to mention all the special goodies included.

If you could email it to me, that would be great! My email is muddeprived79@comcast.net.

Thanks alot!

I see you.

I've heard this! I actually think it's exceedingly unfair that it has all that extra stuff that we who don't have blu-ray players and can't afford them can't get. But that's a rant for another day.

*salutes*

Yeah I agree. I gave in and bought a blu player just to watch Avatar cuz everyone was raving about it. My best bud was nice and let me borrow his 46" HD tv to watch it on and it's outstanding. I can't wait till my savings account gets enough funds to get the 3D TV. It's amazing that this movie makes me buy all this stuff lol.

Thanks for the email, I appreciate it!

Just wanna clarify, it's the 1994 version, not '95.

Is it? The first page on the blu ray script says "December 1995" so figured it was written in 95.

Strange...

...From all sorts of sources, I've always read it was written in '94. This is weird; I've gotta look it up.

Maybe Cameron came up with the idea of Avatar in 1994 but didn't finish writing the script till 95?

No, one source said he allegedly took only two weeks to write it. It had to be either '94 or '95, and it's starting to look like it was '95... at least, according to the script date on the blu-ray.
