Default Avatar in HD?

Kalaxti! Im just wondering if anyone here knows where you can buy a copy of Avatar in HD for your PC? Ive been looking every-where and cant seem to find a place that sells an HD download. Id rather not resort to pirating but I cant find any place that actually sells it.....
Any help appreciated =]

(Sorry if this is in wrong section, if it is please move it, thanks!)

Have you tried Amazon? What about iTunes? I haven't checked in a while, but last I saw, they sold a digital copy of Avatar in HD.

I take it you don't have a Blu-ray reader in your computer? If you do, just go swipe the free trial version of Slysoft AnyDVD HD and you'll be done in no time flat (there are other cheap/free options, that's just what I used). If you don't, might be time to consider one! (and then you'll never have to ask for digital copies again!)

I've never heard of any place that sells downloadable HD movies. I even took a shot at looking for a place just now; no luck. You're gonna have to pirate. I know just the place, but I can't speak on it in public.

If you own the Avatar bluray, you can make a backup.

Yep, AnyDVD HD works really well. Price is a little steep, but you get most of a month to try it for free, so just get those discs queued up!

Of course, as soon as you start ripping your Blu-ray collection, you'll be looking for deals on big hard drives! Even after you throw away all the extra stuff, the menu videos, the non-English audio programs, etc., the main movie (2D theatrical version) is still around ~36Gb. Then you rip CE, the 3D version, etc., etc., and it adds up fast!

It's quite a bit better if you compress it to something like h.264, but still one big file
