Default (I can't sleep tonight) What's really on a person's mind?

It is something everyone asks themselves but I think our own assumptions reflect upon our past experience with people and our childhood memories for starters. Sometimes people act in different and rather odd ways of conveying themselves (me included) and it's an unpredictable fact that we have to live with throughout our entire lives. This is also a factor in which that makes us all, as sapient beings, unique so it isn't an entirely bad mystery. I think any one of us would like to get into the greedy CEO's head to see just how he sees the world and why he/she doesn't do much of anything behind it. Assumptions and stereotypes would follow the main cause being excessive greed and government control. However I got an idea on what people want out of other people on the most basic level; attention and degrees of interest.

Attention\Interest? Isn't that the feeling we get when we see a cool movie trailer or when someone says shocking news? Yes, that is the feeling but for both examples, their extreme cases. Lesser cases of interest and attention can be best described while having a conversation. If your agging your partner on by shaking your leg or crossing your hands into your pits, your body shows that your not interested. If you stay in one position for awhile while you talk with your other party member, your focusing more of your attention on them than your feelings on to get out of the conversation, making you and your party member entertained. Being comfortable with yourself is the remedy in this situation. Practice with your self acceptance for starters than build up to your self approval, than next fix yourself up in the mirror to at least satisfy you and maybe someone else (if your the only one looking in the mirror, assume what someone else says). This is one big solution to a problem that needs many (hope it helps).

However this problem's main focus is when it happens between a man, and a woman. I could go on and on about our differences but for relevances sake, woman are more critical than men. It is a fact and it's not just my assumption that this is so; a woman will listen and think about what you said for a little bit, thinking about it's implication. A common man would not notice this and the complete lack of interest would be shown by her body language. This all happens in the backs of our minds and it isn't anything we can control; I know alot of you ladies out there have such kind souls, but discovering our differences and finding a solution to them is an excellent idea for both parties. Continuing with my point, a man who is knowledgeable about this but isn't really a talker would be lost, because he is considering all the kinds of questions that are neutral and yet not direct\forward. Without exterior knowledge (movies, books, comics, etc.), this kind of approach is the the hardest thing in the world. My friends, who seem to be a master in this kind of field, say that you just need to relax and let your mind do the talking instead of you. Great advice indeed, it shows results, but it's reaching this state of mind that is half the battle to the over-analytical mind. I'm sorry but for those people, your on your own. It is your journey to seek the way past your own problems, since they are so unique and unlike anything that could be relatable. Plus experience helps too, talk with anyone. Ladies, if you can't find a reason on why you are not lowering your standards, it isn't entirely your fault. If you want to find a good man, you need to be good to yourself; this is the order of things, and evidence show many facts supporting it. Self improvement is incredibly good for you, and getting a possible boyfriend is only a side product of it all (This means were improving ourselves too). In the end though, our interests, dreams, respects, and everything else that makes us great humans is what allows us to get along so well, that's something I'm proud of knowing.

Even though I know enough advice to make Mt. Everest and have the drive to get things done, I still find it very hard to deal with women. I can't stop when I'm talking and I'll say something out of no where that will kill the conversation flat out cold. There was once a man who said,"The best marriage is friendship. But bounded by love is another thing". I wrote this to give some ease to some of you folks who are remotely curious and that I'm sorry I did that, you know who you are and I'm not being too hard on myself. I'm trying to find the solution to this rather universal problem. I've come up with a few, and I'm content with one of them.

Problem sleeping is the result of a busy mind unable to rest, which sadly i have trouble with. Laying my head against the pillow all i think about is problems and tasks i have to do, thinking about tommorow and the stresses of tests, not one night have i shut my head down and instantly entered sleep, my head is soo busy i cannot rest easy.

I made this post because for one I can't sleep, and two I thought it needed to be said. Unlike the feeling you get after seeing Avatar, this is something rather more immediate. I want to tell people this because it's all true, and I would hate it if someone suffered and I could of done something about it. I also know all of this is rather controversial, but I got alot of instances and examples to prove my point. It could be in the debate section, but there is also a high a chance that if anyone has a debate and it's emotionally charged one, it'll never end. That is the reason why I never like to debate. I miss a crowd that knows what I'm talking about lol. No offense to anyone.

I couldn't sleep one night after watching Battlestar Galactica, that night I ended up staying awake until my alarm clock went off.

I miss that show so much. You know the blu-rays run for about $200 dollars? That's insane.
