I think its amazing how much people depend on machines. Sure we have things like our vehicles to get us to and from work and such, but a lot of stuff is luxury. I'm for comfort and such, but when it starts getting to the point car manufacturers are using technology to adjust your seat for you if you're holding the right key is pretty crazy. People are doing less and less, and pretty soon its going to get to the point people don't even drive cars. Sure I find the technology fascinating and hey, gives us automotive technicians more to fix, but when people rely on this stuff... kind of crazy. For example, Ferrari has a new car out that can't be raced on a track... why? Brakes by itself. Say you're racing down the straight away wide open throttle, straight to a hairpin turn... even if you hold the pedal wide open, the car will brake itself so you will be able to steer through the hairpin and keep going wide open.
I'm 50/50... technology is fascinating and amazing, but people relying on the stuff I don't like. Gives us a job though
