Oh No! What a sod! Sorry to hear that Moco. Well, can't they do something about it being as it was their error for not forwarding your application? This is your opportunity to expand you experience, education and development that they have messed up. Hope you can get something out of them. You go for it like a Palulukan ma tsmuke.

Yeah, I'd be looking at other schools.

Default And then this happened!!!!

I tried to write the title in all caps, but oh well!!!!! The response email was that I should've gotten my acceptance letter in the physical mail at least a month ago, so it must have gotten lost. The application was sent, the department head just can't find any record of that (for some reason I don't particularly care about right now).

FCK YEAH

I am going to London in September.

Right, so you have been accepted, it's just that the school lost the confirmation letter..right? Well, if that's the case, at least that is something. Would have been nice if they had told you. What have these people been smoking?

The school didn't lose the acceptance letter, it was lost in the mail. However, they did lose whatever email record they had of my application being sent, so I still give them the full blame for thinking hope was lost.

Well glad it is sorted Moco. We'll have to have a mini meet up sometime, whilst you are over. What say HNM?

There's definitely going to be some sort of mini Euromeetup thing because I'm visiting Clarke, but it seems like the location will have to be where he is because he's so determined not to spend any money A few others have said they'd like to visit too, but I can't tell how serious anyone is this far in advance.

I couldn't tell you. However, I can tell you that if the Omaticaya spoke Scots, Jake wouldnae git anywar, even wi' Nom's help. (Also, Norm introducing himself to Grace becomes a lot more hilarious)

That would be something! "Haloo thar Grrace. A jus com forr a wee bit oh Avatar trraining. ah yoo up forr a wee bit, lacy?"

Or you could have it in broad Derbyshire, where I come from: "Ay up mi duck. Yer all raight? Ahh ya goin' f' a bit a Avatar trainin', like?

Moco, you don't know what you are letting yourself in for when you come across to the UK - we don't come with subtitles! Hahahaha...

London isn't so bad though. I don't think people in the south have accents, although we probably do to you .

"Oops."

But regardless of how hilarious the film gets with silly accents, a UK minimeet sounds like a good plan. I wouldn't want you to come all the way oop up north just because I'm here, though. (But then again, there's a lot to do in Edinburgh.)

However, avoiding London might be a good plan, considering the accommodation there is probably 150-200% the cost of the rest of the country.
