    The 426 HEMI makes it's power at higher RPM's. That's the advantage of the HEMI, for like circle track racing. But it is a very heavy engine coming in over 800 pounds. But comparatively the 426 HEMI made 425 bhp and the 440 made 390 bhp.

    I just now saw that, pretty much everything I posted applies to the Charger but you just add another 50 horse into the equation

    Actually decided on a '69 charger R/T with the 426 Hemi. The Judge is still a want of mine, maybe a retirement present
