Samples of ethyl ethanoate, 1-hexene and ethanoic acid require identification. Two reagents are available: bromine water and zinc metal.

Discuss how three samples can be identified using the reagents above. Your answer must include:

This is an excellence level question, if answered correctly it will give you the highest grade, it's straight from my book. I couldn't do this because I'm somewhat of a poor chemist, I just want to pass chemistry, biology is my best subject.
