Another story is that we went round a chaps house warming party after work one day and I took my video camera. Well I couldn't resist but do a 'beem me up scotty' shot. He was quite abliging.

Yeah, and there was this other guy in another part of our company who was a dead ringer for Data. So the two of them got together and ended up having a photoshoot for the in house newspaper. The Piccard lookalike was going to get a borg outfit made. Don't know if here ever did, but he got a tuxedo (for an episode that involved the hollow deck) and when off to a trekkie do in Las Vegas. He joined a local trekkie group and teamed up with another guy who looked like Riker and then ended up in a spoof sci-fi series episode with him! Not sure it ever got shown though. Quite a guy!

Now that's a cool story.

Well it was only logical. I'm a bit of a tekkie myself at heart.

We had a chap at work who was the spitting image of Piccard. He ended up getting a uniform and goes off to raise money for charity. He's been to Las Vegas to conventions. He also met Patrick Stewart once too and Captain Janeway (can't remember her real name) got him mixed up with the real guy! Ha.
