Art and poetry are some of my favourites,
however I think that art can be restrictive since not everyone feels competent drawing or painting. I have a good knack but I am a perfectionist with such things so I normally leave my art half finished since I think I have done something wrong.
That is an interesting scenario that you have brought up, I would ask why the Pope but you are entitled to your private thoughts.
I always write poetry and stories when I can, normally when I feel a certain way emotionally or have a burning issue to share or debate with..

I had to take an hour out of uni today to work on an assignment for tomorrow..
Then I will face the mid semester crunch after my break when the work piles up...
