As much as I like a good debate, I agree that too much debate forum is not good. Often times when I've brought up the topic of why there are so few Avatar discussions here with other people on skype, they all say that we have already talked everything to death a long time ago but from what I've seen, we have only scratched a small portion of the surface of what there is to discuss.

Anyways, I look forward to discussing more of the movie we all love.

Yeah, same here. Things get a little cabin-fevery when there aren't enough fresh discussions about actual, Avatar-related things... Avatar is the common interest that brings us all here, after all, and if we're not talking about Avatar we end up talking about politics and random personal stuff instead. Not that it's bad to have that as well, but it's better when there's a healthy ratio. And I don't think it's true we've discussed everything there is to discuss... Ash and I have long rambling gchats about Avatar all the time. I'm going to try to start more topics as well.

I've always felt that TOS needed more discussions about the movie itself. I think that we just need a a lot of momentum to kickstart things. I will be trying to start a new thread every other day.
