kaltxì, ma tsmuke...and sorry for the late reply. so, how are you? yes, it's summer time and we're more outside than inside...a good time for our pc to relax. yeah, the "weather frogs" promised us a bad summer weather, a lot of clouds and rain, but it's only dry and hot. we currently have around the 31°C and on weekend we should get 38°C.
oh yes, that's right...i remember, when i was a young boy and came earlier from school, as my grandma planned, i could go to every other family in her house entrance. it was more like a big family. today it's only dangerous... behind every door could be a child abuser. so, we will never say to our daughter, that she can go to our neighbours, if we're still not at home. it's so sad...but that's the world of today.
ok, thx for the info...i will visit raiden's profile.

dear greetings and a wonderful middle of the week.
kìyevame, ma tsmuke ulte eywa ngahu.

(continuation) But more importantly, I guess the attitude was different; i think people used to be more friendly & more helpful to each other... There wasn't so much bickering between the different regions as I see now. I had friends from different regions, & people get along well between each other - it's, usually, the governments who start fights out of greedy interests... I met some Bulgarians, Ukranians, Georgians etc- and all were convinced that it was better before when there were not so many borders & papers required to simply meet the people...
got to go now, Eywa ngahu,

kaltxi ma tsmukan how is it going on your side of the world?
We have a strange summer here - warm as it is usual in the Mediterranean, but rainy & cloudy
About nostalgie for the past way of living that was gone with the wind... ah well, I guess there is always something good & something bad in any situation. People usually scold socialism & communism, but we had free medical care & free education - actually we got paid grants for the university studies!

kaltxì, dear alex. back from our holidays at the baltic sea...and now only 4 days yet, until i have to do my daily work again.
oh, your wonderful words...you're so right.
yeah, you're from my big brother-country... i was born in the GDR and until today i miss my lost homecountry.
alright, we couldn't travel wherever we want to, but today we're living in a world of social unsafety, unemployment, crime and drugs.
wow, siberia...what a cold corner of the world...we only have -20°C and for us it's too much to cold.
yes, since i was a young boy i'm interested in animals and the nature...especially i like insects. so i was in a working group, who collected beetles in a scientific way.
today i'm only snapping them with my mobile cam and ofc pics of our nature too.

dear greetings and i wish you a wonderful sunny weekend.

oh, I forgot about another thing it is very sweet of you to teach flora & fauna to two little girls! MOMS has a small daughter, too, but he is a wee bit far away from you, if not, you could go walk with kids together he has German roots actually.
Brazilian / Turkish??? that's a potent mix! I have a colleague who is Vietnamese / Peruvian, born in France & living in Spain... whoah!

oh, another question: were you born in Eastern, or Western Germany?
I was born in the USSR - Soviet Russia (Siberia). this country, the way of thinking and living, don't even exist anymore. But the land of course exists.

ah ma dear tsmukan, did We always listen to older people when we were young/teenage? I daresay, not so much! at least talking about myself. Sure I thought I was the smartest butt on this planet, the knowledge of my parents/grandparents is hopelessly outdated, & I know better than anybody how the world works!
20-30 years down the line, looking back, I can say that, in part, that was true: the Cold War is over, the Berlin Wall is down, & everything changed. Look at us writing to each other on an Avatar community forum! In my parents' time, we would have KGB/stazi/ etc. on our tails immediately!
But Some things - eternal, universal truths - never get old. What goes round, comes round, many men - many minds, think positive, every cloud has a silver lining, treat the others as you want to be treated... All this - I discovered - is true. But the young generations must live their life experiences, and get their own *samples*. If they listen - they get the *samples* faster
