...oh yes, that's the right translation...oma & opa or großmutter & großvater...and yes, for me it's unbelieveable, but i already could be an opa too. a known good of mine became oma in the age of 38.
since yesterday i'm on holidays for 3 weeks...the next week we'll be at the baltic sea and i hope we'll get holiday weather for it.

dear greetings and a wonderful middle of the week, tomorrow.
kìyevame, ma tsmuke ulte eywa ngahu.

kaltxì, dear alex. i'm also one of the older forum members...your generation. i was born in 1971. oh yes...that's true, now we're little teachers for the younger generations...but in the world of today they often don't wanna know someting about our wisdom and knowledge anymore and that's a pity.
but yeah, here just around the corner lives a 9 years old brazilian/turkish girl, i know since maybe 2 years. for her i'm just like a father figure, for the one she really never has had and so she often is on my side too, when i'm busy with showing my 4 years old daughter the wonders of our flora and fauna.

oh great so you Did make it to the Berlin meetup, although only for a few days! I am very glad for you now, that you know what it's like & where to find it, you sure can go to more!
Ha ha as far as the age goes, I am one of the older 'clan members' on this forum, & I am not hiding my age - older people are needed to share wisdom, knowledge & experience with the younger generations! think of grandmas & grandpas (Oma & Opa in German, right?)
When people ask me about my age I say: "I must be about 2000 or 3000 years old, I stopped counting when I turned 700!"

kaltxì, dear alex and thx for your holiday, birthday and bridge wishes ...again now i'm one year older...
yes, here on ToS i found nothing about the euroavatar meetup'13 in berlin. but i randomly found something about it on facebook. it was from friday, the 10th of may until friday, the 17th in an adventure camp, in the middle of the grunewald-forest in berlin.
i only was there for a daytrip on sunday and yes, it was so wonderful. we were around the 20 - 30 persons. our special guests were prof. paul frommer and his friend john. we could talk with them about na'vi, other languages and daily things...simply unforgetable... it was like they were one of us fans. the time went by so fast and i wished, that i could spend the whole week there.

dear greetings and a wondeful we.

    kaltxi ma tsmukan
I've just looked at Meetups subforum - & I am afraid, that I unintentionally mislead you cos I didn't see any Berlin meetup there it is probably organized by Learn Na'vi forum. Sorry about wrong info

You can ask Alan - ma oetsyp tsmukan (little brother), in My Friends. He is a genious in organizing things & is usually involved in Meetups - cos he is our video guy & this forum's James Cameron! I imagine he would have some info...

here, it's raining & pouring, a very rainy spring - good for the land but depressing for the humans but it is clearing up. Anyway I write about weather in the Weather thread.

The weekend is over, unfortunately - they are always too short! I would prefer to work for 3 days & have a 4 days weekend
    How are you doing?

ow yay! happy coming birthday then!
wish you... err... peace & love in the soul, health in the body, and money in the pocket! how about that?
Berlin Avatar fans meetup - it's best if you check in the Forum - Meetup subforum, you will see who's coming, dates, hotels, events etc.! I am not coming so I can't give you the accurate information. but if you can - I am sure it will be fun!

I am here for a quick look cos it's already 20:49 at mine, actually, I hardly visit the forum apart from the weekends, today is an exception...

well enjoy your holidays, birthday, bridge and everything else!

kaltxì, dear alex. yes, i think i am. oh thx...and it also feels good to see myself in blue. eu meetup in berlin? omg, i haven't heard about it before. sorry, i'm often a little bit out of time. my family life sometimes keeps me away from being updated.
which month, which days? hey, a dream would become reality and my hometown is only ca. 60 km away from berlin.
hell's kitchen...oh, that's really a hard los. yes, i can imagine, it isn't so easy to understand such traditions...but so much interesting.

dear greetings and a wonderful middle of the week.
tomorrow will be my last working day of this week. thursday is ascension day, then a bridge-day and then it's weekend... 4 free days.

hahaha you photoshopped trickster! but you look good in blue, do you think of coming to EU Meetup in Berlin? there could be a cosplay day, you'll have your chance to paint up if you want to...
Aw right I must disclaim: my Colombians Did have Amazonian ancestors, as close as the father of one & the grandma of the other. But they (my room-mates) were not born in the jungle but in Bogota slums, Hell's Kitchen - which made them a rather peculiar lot...
Yet, they were different. It was very difficult for my Western-ish mind to understand some of their customs & attitudes, they were very... tribal! But I guess in the end we got to appreciate each other for what we Were, like 'I See You' means 'i see you inside, I know who you are & I recognize you...' Or something. Anyways, room-mating with them was a rather... special experience!

kaltxì, dear alex. oh no, i wasn't painted on this picture. i took it at home...in a corner of our sitting room...with a cardboard box of a mailorder house in my hands.
i only thought, it looks funny with that sign "it's me".
a few days later, i had this idea to use it for this forum and so i changed the color of my skin with "microsoft picture it!" and added "a na'vi" with the same program on it.
apache blanca is a great nick and the story about it too.
you lucky one...how i wish, i could spend a longer time with a nature tribe in their environment and learn more about to live in harmony with the nature.

dear greetings and my best wishes for the rest of the weekend.

Another Visitor Message - the first one was too long so I split it into two
Easter was good, irayo - but too short! it happens a lot with holidays...
My real name is Alex, actually it's Alexandra, but I prefer Alex - shorter & less formal. However I got Apache Blanca nickname from the Colombians of Amazonian origin - they were nicknamed Apaches for their native faces & attitudes, & after I room-mated with them for about 1 year they declared that my name was Apache Blanca (White Apache) & that I was 'one of the clan'. This is how I became Apache althought I don't have a single Apache gene, but I find this name special so I keep it
