Yes I have red your thread, very well written! It's better to have single place, but as I know from many other examples single big forum tends to loose its "magic" over time. BTW: I have been searching ToS for some time yesterday and I have to agree, I am actually starting to build same opinion of this place. I have never saw so much kindness in internet community, I am used to flames and other crappy behaviour all over the net. It's amazing what Avatar did with us here, so many good characteristics have been woken up!!!

well there are TONS of observatories in the north of Chile, the best of them are in the atacama desert, however i live 1000+ miles away from it hehe, so i only can go during summer or winter holidays, im still trying to choose whether to live in the very north of Chile, or in the very south 600 miles away from the antarctica, that's where my hometown is

here in Chile if i want to go to an awesome observatory, i'd go to the north of the country , Atacama Desert gives some really really really clear nights, and that's awesome

Hi hi. Yup I joined today. I am not well informed about reasons behind having two forums. This place seems to be very active these days and people are behaving very kind, which I find VERY great. I am short time here, so I can't judge which forum I like more, however people whose posts I liked are now half by half between forums. This is a little strange, I would prefer single place for all fans . Well ... enough of sentiment... I hope it will be fun here like on AF or even more! . And how you like it here?

BTW as many said background image is kewl , but isn't reason why I registered here..haha . And sorry for my poor english (in the case it isn't understandable), I am not native and still learning .
