Hmm... a good example. I can understand what you are saying.

However, this comparison is between an English written poem and (what I assume is) it's Spanish transcription. I think that if you compared poetry written in Spanish and transcripted to English, you'd see the same thing. The flow would be thrown-off somewhat.

I still have to say though, the Spanish version, whilst not having the same sense of drama and flow, still sounded nicer than the English version in the formation of the words in my personal opinion. The sway of the individual words is far nicer to the harsh sounds of the English language.

I do understand what you're saying however. Although obviously I didn't understand it, the Spanish version seemed far more complex in terms of word choice and length. I can see somewhat why this would be a barrier to effective expression...

But, why I prefer English over Spanish is because with it I can just let my mind flow. You know, in Spanish it's difficult to find the exact word for what you want to write, and also rhyming is more complicated: being a phonetically simple language, all vowels have to coincide.

Shakespeare could express himself with five times less words that now English has, and he excelled and still is a figure of excellence in English literature.

Hm... Now we're talking about poetry, let me show you If, from Rudyard Kipling and the Spanish version. Compare.

Perhaps because I copy Spanish narrative and poetry structures; I don't know. Spanish is a more complex language, yet it's beautiful in its complexity; unlike English, being practical, simple and extremely powerful at some points.

But I am a perfectionist person: wishing always to make it better. I hope someday I was told I don't look like a foreigner.

You can join a sports/reading club, or if you want something more extravagant, a poetry group. You might find your muse there, y'know what I meannn.... *groarwoofwoof*

"so well"? Don't think so, you've seen I constantly make utter mistakes on English, specially when it comes to subordinations and complex grammatical structures. I still have a lot to learn: I just finished a participles test on the web and got 4 out of 10. Man, now that IS demotivational.

Studying more will make me good.

Some things will just come with time, no need to worry about the lifemate. If you keep meeting people you might find someday your ideal partner

Oh, and it's an English test about inversions, impersonal passives and participles; I'm having some struggle with the last ones but I can get over it.

Wow thats a great song! I have a few D&B songs, but not a lot...

yea, I love trance/electronic/dubstep/techno/rave, things like that. Here's a trance song where when I played it at a party, I cried right there on the dance floor. I stepped out from behind my turntables and danced, and at one part I cried because the song was so beautiful, the people were beautiful, everything was beautiful.

    Armin Only 2008 - A.L.E.X. Morph

Here's a rave/techno one thats a necessity at each party
Fab - Waiting for a Girl Like You

thats the sort of stuff I love
