It makes sense, since the english and english speaking people would of preferred the urban dwellings in the south, closer to England and away from the mountains. That sounds horrible, but in a way I'm not surprised, mostly all the colonisers apart from New Zealand tried to exterminate ethnic culture. It's really sad and I'm glad that it isn't as bad as that now.

Nooo, not good! I think since it's only used in certain parts of Wales, no one really feels obliged to speak, learn and pass on the language. I know what you mean.

Very true, that's why I'm hoping to learn it, teach it to my brothers and hopefully later on to younger descendants.

It's a very big part of our culture, I think it's one of the oldest languages in Europe since the Welsh were part of the original Britons.
