I don't spend a whole lot of time on ToS, but I'll see you soon! Hurray for Seattle!

Aww, your too kind ma tsmuke! I've still got some work to do on the itineraries. They won't be cast in stone, but just suggestions to help folks...hopefully.

Maybe we'll have to do a short list of things that we need to chat about for the Avatar Convention and find the oppropriate times when we can chat about it and get people to contribute. I know what you mean; talking about 'it' is far easier than doing 'it'. But if the work is shared then it becomes so much easier. You only have to look how many people have contributed to the Seattle meet up both for the 4th June and 9th July. I think it's wonderful.

I know what you mean about getting excited aboout meeting up in 2nd June. My mind is doing over time on it!

No worries about doing an update for wiki. I'll do one as soon as I can. Links to Aketuans newsletters could always be posted I guess too...

Kaltxi!. Just though I would pop by and say hello being as I've been a bit on the quiet side recently. I manage to have a chat with Aketuan over the weekend and we came up with a cunning plan to put forward some suggested itineraries for people to chose - or not - for the meet up in Seattle. At least then it might help people budget for the trip and and maybe give them ideas of what they would like to do. I also need to report back the results from the survey too some time this week.

I'm also conscious that I have not been contributing to the Avatar Convention, so please let me know if there is anything I need to do.

Once again, sorry for the delay - this last week has been insanely eventful for me, so I'm having a hard time getting my thoughts straight.
And indeed, I feel the very same way regarding Avatar. It goes so much beyond the physical movie itself... it goes beyond the scenes, the characters... it's something much more, and something impossible to put a name on.

It basically sums up all my feelings of Avatar, and why I have chosen never to see it again. I feel like you understand me in so many regards - so I'd be really glad if you read it through.

And "Avatar is your world the way you think it should be." - thank you so much for sharing this, it is some beautiful wording and something I'll definitely remember.

I have just been very busy the past days - and I did not want to reply to your message in such a state since I had a feeling it'd just come out confused and non-understandable.

I am not feeling uncomfortable at all - rather the opposite, since you still remind me very much of myself, somehow. And about that - and the reason I said we might have much in common - I honestly do not know how to explain it. It's just a feeling, nothing less, nothing more. I guess it's just... something familiar. (hey, I told you my reply would be confusing! )

As for the T-shirts, we are looking into means of selling them. As soon as we have that solved, I will definitely let you know.

Yeah, it should be a trip I'll never forget... yeah, me and Alan have really put a lot of stuff together for this, and many other people have contributed as well, so it is kind of like a group effort. It is awesome that you are rooming with CyanRachel. She has been looking for a roommate for a long time...

Should be fun!

I think we're all getting really excited about going to Seattle. I'm thinking about it every day now! Trouble is I know it is going to pass soo quickly .

You can post a message on the meet-up thread saying when you will be there. Feel free to look through the whole thread if you wish. (Link below.) You can also say a bit about the Avatar Con if you wish. I'm sure people will get fire up about that as well! Here's the link:

Not sure, but I think Payoang might be going... We'll have to think about how best to use the time together with everyone to get their thoughts, with out imposing too much on people's time. Perhaps round a table at meal time maybe or when we get back to the hotel in the evening? I think informal would be good.
