Aww, your too kind ma tsmuke! I've still got some work to do on the itineraries. They won't be cast in stone, but just suggestions to help folks...hopefully.

Maybe we'll have to do a short list of things that we need to chat about for the Avatar Convention and find the oppropriate times when we can chat about it and get people to contribute. I know what you mean; talking about 'it' is far easier than doing 'it'. But if the work is shared then it becomes so much easier. You only have to look how many people have contributed to the Seattle meet up both for the 4th June and 9th July. I think it's wonderful.

I know what you mean about getting excited aboout meeting up in 2nd June. My mind is doing over time on it!

No worries about doing an update for wiki. I'll do one as soon as I can. Links to Aketuans newsletters could always be posted I guess too...

PS ... I would like to post a reminder message on our wiki about the Seattle trip ... would you mind coming up with something appropriate? You are very good with words. I am also going to ask Payoang for something that I can post about the LearnNa'vi trip to Seattle. I thought it would look impressive to post them together.

There is nothing going on at the Wiki about the con right now ... I think that everyone is waiting to hear the results of our "Seattle Summit". It is becoming apparent that the workers of this fandom are rising to the top like cream ... and they are the small handful of us so far. LOL It is one thing to say that THIS IS A GREAT IDEA and then, another to say LET'S GET 'ER DONE! We are the ones who will get 'er done!

I am smiling right now because I am thinking about the four of us meeting at the airport on June 2nd ... what a high that will be.

Kaltxi!. Just though I would pop by and say hello being as I've been a bit on the quiet side recently. I manage to have a chat with Aketuan over the weekend and we came up with a cunning plan to put forward some suggested itineraries for people to chose - or not - for the meet up in Seattle. At least then it might help people budget for the trip and and maybe give them ideas of what they would like to do. I also need to report back the results from the survey too some time this week.

I'm also conscious that I have not been contributing to the Avatar Convention, so please let me know if there is anything I need to do.

I have been chatting with Payoang a lot and am always trying to convince him that he MUST join us. ... for the well-being of our con. LOL I think the financial side is why he is holding back ... do you think there is anyone who might be looking for a roommate ... that MIGHT help to get him there financially? Maybe.

I really like your idea about discussion roundtable(s) in the hotel in the evenings ... for those youngsters (haha) who don't want to go out and party, we will provide an alternative. Sleep well tonight!

I think we're all getting really excited about going to Seattle. I'm thinking about it every day now! Trouble is I know it is going to pass soo quickly .

Not sure, but I think Payoang might be going... We'll have to think about how best to use the time together with everyone to get their thoughts, with out imposing too much on people's time. Perhaps round a table at meal time maybe or when we get back to the hotel in the evening? I think informal would be good.

You have no idea how my heart is pounding about our adventure. I had started to make flight reservations; but the site suggested I wait for a few days because they were anticipating that the cost would go down a little ... and every little bit helps. Do I go to Aketuan's "page" to let him know I am coming? I can always update my flight information later.
Regarding our Con ... I actually haven't focused on that the past few days. Faern will be getting with Payoang very soon to work on the avatarcon.com website. While we have a captive audience in Seattle ... hmmmmm. Could we perhaps send out some type of a questionaire before arrival date and ask everyone to jot down their thoughts and ideas, and also some discussion topics ... and then we could schedule some roundtable time with whoever is interested in participating. I have already come to the conclusion that you are the ultimate meeting organizer.

Hey, just seen you visitor message. That is wonderful news. I'm over the 'pandoran' moon. Don't forgat to let Aketuan know what days you will be there so he can update the attendance list. I don't think it will be too hard to get an Avatar Convention discussion going during our time all together. We'll have to see if we can think up some way of getting ideas and thought out of them and some way of recording it...any thoughts?
