She did well in her role. I don't think it's one of her most memorable performances, but she did well.

Yeah I guess they did disappear
What did you think of Michelle through the film? I personally cracked up when she had those one-liners here and there haha. "They're going down like bowling pins!" hahaha

I KNOW! I was thinking, "...What the HELL does that have to do with anything??!!" I loved that bit.

...But I dunno. She seemed to just fade out of that scene moment by moment, where Elena sort of took over.

Also, whatever happened to that little girl, again? I was thinking that about 10 minutes after the highway scene. She seemed to disappear.

Yes, as did I. It was a very sad sad scene.

And also, when they all bring in the half-dead alien into the room, and the staff sargeant says "we gotta find out how to kill it.." ...and then that civilian lady was just like "You know...I'm a veteranarian..." I just...facepalmed at that lol

You know, you're absolutely right. There were many moments where I *knew* what was going to happen. I also predicted the lieutenant would die, because we all know Eckhart the staff sargent had to be the leader. As for holes, I think this entire movie screams: SEQUEL, because there's still a lot more to be told.

But I guess the reason why I didn't completely dislike it was because the emotional moments were really well done, imo. Especially during when the kid loses his dad. I shed a tear.

To be honest, there were some holes in the movie's plot.
Like how we don't know what happened to the civilians that got sent away on the helicopter.
Other moments and scary pop-outs were so predictable such as when the alien got shot and fell into the pool; of course we knew it was still alive...
I also didn't like how they killed off SO many main characters throughout the film...
But you're right it's good if you're into watching a video game. That's kinda why I got a kick out of the action scenes.
