Do you believe Jesus died for the sins of the world, is the Son of God, and should be worshipped accordingly, following His teachings (which dictate against practically every single post you've ever made on this forum)? The Protestant and Catholic teachings of this are pretty much the same on this subject. If you do not believe the above, you are not a Catholic.
I disagree with the church on quite a few things, but tbh, I don't know a single Catholic that walks lockstep with the Vatican. Probably what sets us apart from protestants, we've got alot of leeway on beliefs.
