Yes, it's extremely beautiful.

We've just had a bad earthquake for one which will cost the economy $20 billion. We also have massive foreign debt, we borrow 250 million a week just to keep the country going. Our cost of living has risen in the last 10 years and wages haven't kept up. Unemployment is rising as well.

It'll hopefully improve in New Zealand as time goes on, the government just needs to build up a surplus rather than debt. Hopefully we'll get out of that rut. It's not as if we're in it alone though, the whole world is in financial difficulty.

I'm not Polish, no. But there are quite a few Poles on this website.

Half of my family lives in Southampton and the other half emigrated to New Zealand, I'm part of the group that lives in New Zealand. New Zealand is basically a tourist destination that's getting poorer and poorer.

In the short term it will get worse everywhere because that's just where the world is going at the moment. One can never be certain though.

How do I know? My family are in Southampton and have Polish neighbours. Plus I do 'a lot' of demographic research in my spare time, 10% of Southampton's population is Polish, I'm not sure about Norwich though or East Anglia in general. I think it's good though because all the Polish people I know are really nice.

Ah, that's good. Poland will improve in time, you just need to wait for it. In the meantime though England is a good compromise. Plus there is a large Polish community in England.
