    You can. There are free programs similar to Office, such as OpenOffice or Thunderbird. Also, Linux has its own games, which are open source and free.

    Nah, this laptop is not powerful enough, and I'm doing well with Linux.

    It's quicker than Windows, with Vista my laptop freezed for 2 minutes every time I opened a program. Plus, Linux can't get viruses.
