true, true, i mine is pretty good i have done no neck swap or anything, totally stock but it sounds sooooo good

lol that's too much work, also swapping neck has the biggest impact on tone and resonance of the guitar, you can turn a good guitar into awesome or pretty bad, the neck and body has to match in a way

well, buy a 50's model and buy a New neck

yeah well I wanted rosewood fretboard it's kinda weird, I would go for the 50s too if it had rosewood, or maybe the 60s with maple and the 69 pickups. I think it's weird because those 57/62 pickups are trebley and maple is trebley too, while rosewood is more midrangy and not as trebley, and 69 pickups are kinda bassy with scooped mids. At the end, I got the rosewood and switched the pickups for 50s spec lol
