I just heard about the earthquake in New Zealand! I don't know what areas were affected, but I pray and hope that you and your family are ok!

Machiavelli transformed me into a practical man; and I think I wouldn't have read the book unless you posted the Machiavellianism thread. Not that it is a mean book, but some of the points it makes are exactly the reason why behaving good is difficult and harmful for the personal interest.

However most of it is a real practical book and pictures the art of governing in the Middle Age and directing a corporation perfectly.

I'm chugging along... School's just started up for me, so I'll doubtless be able to sympathize with you very shortly.
