It was all a bit of an adventure for us and none of us really know if it would turn out. So I think we are all over the moon that it has come good. You know it would be nice to see more Avatar related community projects bringing us all toether and stuff. A couple of us have an idea for another project but whether it takes of the ground or no, who knows...

No problem, it's great to see the effort put into the film and then getting good results out of it.

Wow, well done and thank you for taking the time to download our film. The scrip took four days to write with most of the reseach done on the internet - no brainer really! The chappy from Canada then proof read it for me before it was sent out for everyone to film their bits.

Thanks for the compliment - you should see the outtakes. It was rather scary doing them bits to camera in front of everyone, but yer know sometimes you just have to do it! There is a making of film too, but it is twice as long as the actual film! Although there is a short outtake film that is much shorty - "the making of the making of"

The Austrailian guy is Peter. He's on AF, and a good sport to. I had to ask for a few retakes and he was perfectly happy to do them. Anyway glad you enjoyed the film and many thanks for your support.

I painstakingly loaded the whole 'Our only home' film on you tube, I am on dial-up.

I was very impressed. There's some solid ideas presented in the film, I also want to congratulate you on your performance in the film, those shots of you speaking and walking down streets carried the weight of an experienced presenter.

Also, who is the Australian guy? John Briscoe I think? I thought his piece was done well too. That's not say all of them weren't done well because they were. Good effort from everyone involved.

Yeah, it was quite a ride we all had together. Never thought I would end up doing anything like this. It's been quite a year. We're in the early stages of coming up with a new project at the moment...

Well that's quite a question to fit a response into 1000 characters or less so here goes..

It went wonderfully! A lot of hard work for all involved. 3 months to do. The film was about the need to look after our planet. Made up of three part: What we are doing to our planet, what those in volved in the film are doing to change their ways, and a ralleying call to get everyone else to do the same. There were 20 people involved from ToS and AF from 9 different countries. Not everone was in the film. Some did the graphics for the DVD, Cover and film too. Everyone involved got a copy of the film and one of our number did an app for the iPhone. We sent a copy to JC, but haven't heard anything back. Then I rang up the IMAX in Birmingham to see if we could have a meet up there and also asked if they would show our film and they said yes! So last Friday we had our meet up, watched our film and completed the journey. Phew! That's the 100mph version. Let me know if you want more ;-)

    Hey Alan,

I just wanted to pose the question, how did the film project go on the whole? How was the film set out? Who was involved? Ect ect....

I havn't had a chance to watch it because I'm on dial-up internet.
