Like for example, why are there so many "thats" in the na'vi language? And how does it work not having a word for "have"? Also when you type na'vi, where can you get the special characters?

No I don't get it. But yeah, I don't know why they all it grammar school. It amazes me that I can write so well! I can understand the use of -il and -t in the first sentence. And I can understand why you wouldn't use the word LU in the second sentence because it would be like using two verbs, correct? I haven't been studying my Na'vi grammar this week. On top of the car repairs, we are painting a structure for a friend, and another close friend of ours has died. It has been a hectic week. I still want to sit down with Sabrina with a list of verbs and nouns and create sentences in Na'vi using this pattern. Maybe next week, things will calm down a little. Ateyo needs to teach the yumons how to make sentence, in my story. Kxawm, I could use sentences that Niri Te and I practice. But I will run them past you first!

When you were explaining about swimming and mowan you gave this example:
slusele also means "swimming". But this one acts more like an adjective (although it's called the active participle) This is used only attributively to say "THE swimming [NOUN] (([VERB]s))" For example, "I just killed a swimming fish with a spear!" would be "Oel tspėmang sluselea payoangit fa tukru!"
So an active participle is when a verb is used like an adjective. I must have been sleeping in class during grammar school!
