Yeah it's been really tiring but I don't often get the opportunity to work overtime, so I'm pretty grateful for the chance to make some extra money. I've been slowly purchasing all the things I'll need to live off the land, just a thing or 2 every check since January. Here's what I've gotten so far:

New hiking backpack that can carry a LOT of stuff
    Compass
    Firestarter
New Danner hiking boots (best boots I've ever owned!)
Gerber full titanium blade survival knife
Australian camping hammock, it's almost like a tent (has a mosquito net and rain cover) but is much easier to carry and setup.
    Water purifier
    Outdoor clothing
And all the smaller things like outdoor cooking utensils, canteen, ect.

I'm definetly ready to get back in touch with the forrest

That sounds great! Looking forward to reading it! I've been really good as well, just really, really busy, especially these past few weeks. I've been working 60 hour weeks at work and trying to finish finals up for the semester needless to say I'm pretty exhausted. Lol that's all I did for my birthday was work and sleep, it was still good though. But summer is just around the corner and I can't wait! I've gotten all new camping and survival gear so that I can go hiking and backpacking in the wilderness on my days off. I can't wait to get back into nature!! That's all I've wanted to do since seeing Avatar

I've been great, even though I always miss talking to you, Rabbit and Brandon Kellum: you guys are my rock that I always cherish and stick with
We all help each other and that's what made me love AF in the beginning..
Personally I've had to face adversity in my own life with a niggling injury that I've had since december (Calcaneal Bursitis:Calcaneal Bursitis: eMedicine Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)
It's getting much better since I've had treatment but I've had to deal with a lot of pain..in the beginning.
Apart from that I've decided to take a break from uni for a while: After watching Avatar in dec and coming back to such a rigid schooling system its made me want to explore nature and nurture friendships instead of being stressed and being given knowledge that I won't be grateful for.

I know, it's been way too long and you will always be with us Tsmukan
Aww well, we face adversity in life all the time but we gain strength when we keep at it and succeed
I have every faith that you will get what you are looking for
Keep this quote from Seneca, one of the great Roman Philosophers from 3BC-65AD in your heart my friend: “The bravest sight in the world is to see a great man struggling against adversity.”

I think Hawaii would be a great choice..provided you like away from the city.
I love the idea of the eco-village, it's the best suggestion I've heard so far
Mmmm yeah I know..Avatar has made me realise that we have to seize the day and cherish what greenery and natural environment that we have left
I hope to explore my own area more thoroughly and learn to see
