In Kauai, they don't have any of the stuff they do in the Big Island so I would have to rely on a lot of biking, walking, getting around with no car to be able to get to my job and things like that. Plus, I've been basically sheltered for all my life so it wouldn't make sense to immediately jump into one dimension if you don't have any experience right? Unless of course, there are certain exceptions... But I wouldn't risk it.

Hey, that actually sounds like a good idea! We can definitely arrange a meet up one day if you want We'll go exploring together! I've been thinking the same thing, with Kauai... The thing is, I want to balance both the suburb/city life and living close to nature at the same time so I can get used to it. I don't feel like I can go all out just yet because I haven't had enough experience. I want to start slowly, and then probably move to Kauai after Big Island.

That's awesome to hear man! Lol I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little envious who knows, maybe I'll end up seeing you there one day. I've never been there (as of yet), but I hear it's amazing! If it were me going, I would probably choose Kauai, because it is less of a tourist attraction and has more of a jungle look to it. Wherever you choose to go is going to be amazing though!!

That's pretty much one of the main reasons why I want to go, along with the natural and wholesome healthy foods they grow there. It'll be perfect for me... The only thing I'm concerned of is with the costs. XD It's supposed to be one of the most expensive among the States. I need to save my money frequently as to be able to pay all my bills and stuff like that. Other than that, life has been flowing rather smoothly lately...

I'm doing pretty awesome myself, just enjoying life and nature Lol I haven't been on too much these past weeks because I've been going places to hike and such in Utah and California. I actually saw the ocean for the first time this last weekend! That was pretty awesome. I'm not really having an official date for a hiking trip yet, just going on weekends I take off from work. But I would like to go on like a 2 week trip towards the end of summer.
