I think that would be a good idea to try it out first before you dive into it. If you could find a local farmer that you can work for, that would be a good start. I don't know how things are in your area or how farms operate but most likely if you start somewhere you will be doing more menial labor since your experience with farm machinery and other things will be lacking. But, if you get to where you like what you see and want to continue, don't be afraid to ask the farmer if you can ride, or watch him operate his machinery so you can eventually learn how to use it.

Sometimes the work isn't easy on the farm but it's never not fun. Working in the hot sun, sweating your clothes through, in the winter time working on the broken machinery, and of course making ends meet with money. But it's fun and there is a greater level of freedom that I feel compared to some other jobs.

Would I recommend farming to you? I don't know, its a tough business to get going, it takes many thousands of dollars to get a couple acres of land, and a few million dollars to get enough ground and machinery to get started. We have been in farming for 4 generations starting back in the early 1900's.

But if you want to do small scale farming like with a couple of acres and just grow food to sustain yourself and still have another job to support you than that is up to you. I don't know how capable you are at agriculture and maintaining a crop so I don't know if it would be good for you.

Yes, I do live on a farm. I really enjoy living in the country. At night there are no cars driving by, no noise outside except for the birds chirping, dog barking and the wind. It is very peaceful place to be. The closest town is about 3-4 miles away and only around 300 people live there.

If I had a chance to live somewhere else, the only thing I would change is to be farther in the country.

Whenever I stay at my moms house which is in a town of about 3500 people, I can't stand to stay there for long. You can't do whatever you want without being watched by neighbors beside you, across the road and driving down the street. In the summer there is always someone around mowing there yard so it's never quiet.

I feel for you and her tsmukan. Very, very sad indeed.

Well, Liquidity is a term we in the Liquid D&B community use to describe a feeling of absolute peace and 'oneness' with the universe. It feels like you flow with it and are a part of it all. You feel so very small, but also so very crucial in it's operation. You can draw huge amounts of strength from the feeling that you are surrounded by great, powerful things also.

Simply put, it's a feeling of euphoria, of being carefree and feeling like nothing can stop you or your love and hapiness. It's a wonderful feeling.
