Well, isn't that what all poets do? Take references, structures, and use them for their own puposes? I personally think it's the language and the strength that matters in a poem, not necessarily the structure. Something that your poetry utilises extremeley well.

I agree with you, English is a functional language, I think it is unbelieveably difficult to write beauty in English, simply because of the sounds of the words etc. I would love to be able to speak another language. Something more intricate, something - basically - more beautiful.

I think this is why I like the sound of Na'vi so much. Although it's a fictional language, it's incredibly beautiful to speak (although I know few words) and also very comfortable, natural. I would also love to speak Spanish simply so I could read yours and many other's texts in a native format.

Some good advice. I considered going to open mic poetry sessions somewhere in a nearby city but as I have said before to you, i'm not really sure people want to hear my maddened ramblings.

As for your English, you really should not feel bad about it. As I said, I can't speak a single word of Spanish, yet your poetry, fanfictions and various other English works are very good in terms of grammar and construction.

On top of that, your general language skills are top-notch. Really, you have nothing to be ashamed of.

Yeah I guess this is true. I still hope I do find someone someday, but I just guess i'm not too worried if I don't. I'd rather settle for nothing than something less. (As backward as that may seem.)

Yes, I slipped into pretty deep depression for a while, out of worry, want and emptiness. I still feel it deeply in the pit of my heart, but it's getting better slowly. As I said in that post I just made, I don't really care whether or not I ever find my soulmate any more. I guess i've given up searching. It's probably for the better to be honest... It will be hard at times, but sometimes you just have to deal with it.
