We all go through our highs and lows; we hit our peaks and our valleys. Just know that God is with you if you allow him in your life. We should give him praise even during the hard times. Here's an uplifting song that will hopefully bring you joy.

I never thought that I would ever be into Christian music. I've always been into classic rock, and all of the old greats. Being born in the 80s I was a young child listening to bands like Guns N' Roses and Whitesnake. Christian music? At that time I didn't even know there was such a thing! I did try listening to Christian music several years ago once I discovered it, and it just was not for me; just — no!

If you had told me I would one day have a playlist of nothing but Christian music just a few years ago I would have told you that you're out of your mind. Even so, I've always considered myself as a Christian; however, I officially got saved in 2017, and something really happened! You can tell a difference, and God really dwells within you. He's real! And he changed the type of music I like. The music I liked before just sounds like noise to me now. I could never understand how anyone could say that about great music of times past, but I understand it now.

If you're interested here's my Spotify Playlist — Spotify Music Playlist

I listened to Metallica - "Master of Puppets" so much on repeat that it ruined the CD, but I couldn't tell you what the lyrics are to it. I couldn't tell you the lyrics to most of the songs I always listened to. I learned the lyrics to all of these Christian songs the first time I heard them. It's actually amazing to me. Some might say it's because the lyrics may be more simplistic, but I think it's because they aren't so dark.

I have been and cannot stop listening to Queen at Live Aid. Saw the movie and then watched the youtube video to see what the hype was about and damn I cannot stop listening.

Freddie was amazing with the crowd. I wish he was still around.
