Default Srung! Is It Ngahu Or Nga-hu?

Everyone (should) know the blessing/greeting Eywa ngahu.

The prollem is, in the Na'vi in a nutshell teaching guide, it's always spelled nga-hu, and the Na'vi dictionary shows with as hu-, with the hyphen. Does that mean that hu-nga is also valid? Am I wrong to assume that the hyphen in the 'official' dictionary means that it is required in spelling?

More importantly, has a tshirt with Eywa ngahu on it, and it is handsome (might buy it), but not unless I know if it's spelled right or not.

It's marked like nga-hu in the nutshell just for people to see where the word comes from. Of course the right spelling is ngahu

And good thinking, hu nga ( but not hunga or something like that) is also valid and can be used, but it's not that...fancy i suppose

The shirt is "correct" and if you like it, go for it!

The hyphen is used to show that it is an adposition, not a separate word. Also it is used to show that hu does not cause lenition, if it would be a + (like with ay+) it would cause lenition to the word it is attached to.

And as KalaKuival said, hu nga is as valid as ngahu - use what fits your impression of flow in the speech best.

I guess you can do that (ngahu -> hu nga) only with adpositions (above, behind, etc.).
Don't do it with normal suffixes or your word will look crappy

(ayoe -> oe ay ... huh... - That is just wrooong)

Technically, there are no rules on how to write Na'vi as it is a spoken language.
