Well I go so e of it but not all :/
No problem. My trouble can be war. As for you with training strong brain??. |
The middle sentence "I difficult cant be war" is the closest I can get.
|
Hover your mouse over the blue text. (both in this post, and the post I did earlier.)
It's the [ navi= "english goes here" ] na'vi stuff goes here [ /navi ] tag. :) also, |
Okay :), " I can understand the difficulty"
I have a tablet so I'm not sure about the cursor over the words thing. :( |

Oel kerä ne Eywa k'sey nivi'bri'sta "I'm going to bed" ? |

Words from the Non-Frommer Appendix in the dictionary are pretty much uncool. Mostly because they are impossible to pronounce, and have stuff in them that should not be possible given the alphabet and rules for building words. And if you are from the US, "I'm going to bed" would actually mean "I'm going to sleep" or "I'm about to sleep." Oe hìyahaw. Txon lefpom :) |
The only phrase I know :S

Six day work weeks cutting into my Na'vi time :/.
okay, Oel yerom teyluti fìtxon. |
and now for the life of me I can't remember why I put "sängi" for si in my last sentence :(

:) Awesome! Does it taste good? Quote:
EDIT: OH. tsap'alute sängi is pretty common. the <äng> is negative mood of the person who's speaking. (it's the opposite of <ei>) |
Kaltxì nìmun!
Just wanted to say that I haven't forgot about my Na'vi learning, just my work hours have been longer and it has been tough, may focus on Memerise for awhile to build vocab, just curious, I know that it may be different for different people, but in your opinion should I focus on building my vocab. then go into the Grammer rules or should I try to finish the 15 lessons first? sorry if this is a skxawng question. As always Irayo for the support :) :) :) |
Understandable.
Not a skxawng question at all! I'd say both are equally as important. I'd say learn some vocab then learn a couple rules and make sure you're comfy with what you've learned so far then learn more. Then again everyone's different so I'm not really sure if there's a best order. I liked to do both, bit by bit when I was learning. And there are a lot more words than rules so you're going to get to the point where I am: knowing all the rules but still learning vocab, especially new vocab as it comes out. :) |
Neato, thanks for that list :D I do look at my flash cards occasionally, but not anywhere near often enough.
|
It's me again :) :)
still working on Memersize when I get the chance, did make my first mem for a Na'vi word...(yes it is weather related,) http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/...pse70c4b3c.jpg |
Nice! I don't totally get the connection myself, but if this helps you remember that äo means "under/below", then awesome :D
|
In meteorology the arctic oscillation is often just referred to as the "AO" and when the index goes negative it means cold air can come south better, so it can help the temp drop "below" 0F for populated areas in the mid latitudes, ÄO=below (0) :)
|
That's a pretty complicated way of remembering one thing, but go on :P
|
My apologies for being gone for so long, just wanted to stop by to say lefpom Christmas ma 'eylan :) :) :) :)
