Noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ARRRRGH
Something has been nagging at me so bad! I recently had to give the really good computer I was using for all my games, back to my ex :( It's great that I'm now free of him and such, but lately, the lingering feeling has been coming back... DOH, I can't play games any more!!!! I miss them :( I will certainly start saving up for a good PC, but it won't be for some time - right now I'm concentrating on saving up for my trip to the USA, and I will most probably be in debt from that when I get back three months later, plus I will also have to pay off my student loan... OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm not a hardcore gamer but it's DEFINITELY fun!! And I was looking forward to playing things online with people from ToS... that would've been great too... Oooh sad rant :/ |
:'(
Hope you manage to sort something out, I'd love to play with you if you play anything I do. What do you play? |
that sucks. : /
Any lower graphics games that you have perhaps? |
Heaps of random stuff. I don't own too many games - mainly RPGs, but I play just about anything. Although I'm not *too* great with some FPS, but I think with a bit more practice I'd be fine :D
What do you play? It would be so fun... Quote:

TF2's always had a strong player base, as with Counterstrike. Both of those are older less graphics intensive.
|
I played Counterstrike FOR YEARS! Fun game, but took too much of my time :(
|
Ohhh never played TF2, good point.
|
Come play on my 360.
|
There is only so many ways to express how sad this is:
This will give you a chuckle |

Damn. That really, really sucks. I play the ocassional game of Marathon, a 90s FPS that is open-source and requires virtually no processing power. Only problem is EVERYONE who plays it is rediculously good... I suck at it and i've been playing it since I was 6 lol.
Still, it's good for a laugh. |
Ah, marathon. Only Bungie could make me love and despise a game at the same time...
Of course you could visit Spock, :P Or consider getting a 360, no idea what the prices are in New Zealand though. In the US their something like 150$, which is much better than an 800$ PC rig. @_@ |

"He just... he just blew me up... from across the map... but I.. I don't... That's just not... It's just... ...FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" That's esentially my Marathon experience. :P |
But if you get a console then I can't play with you :(
TF2 would be good, I haven't played it for quite a while, would be good to get back into it with friends here :) |
TF2 is fun. The Source Engine was "computer-busting" at the time it came out but should run okay now.
autumnshire, if you need any help configuring a computer give me a budget and I'll see what I can come up with, whenever your situation allows for it. |
get TF2... id LOVE to play with ToS people.
|
I remember I used to play Call of Duty 1 A LOT. Just a few years back now actually. There were two guys I couldn't beat. One of them was called blue man and I forgot the other guys name. Fun times anyway.
|
How could it be fun if you they always beat you Spock :S

You don't have to win to have fun. :P |
Not saying that you have to win all the time but it should be an even playing field once in a while..
