I think I wasted an hour of my life (except when I talked to a Chinese girl, we discussed about communism there); but most of the times it was ASL and after "horny?". Seriously, who wants to speak to strangers? Apart from people bored enough who want instant and superficial fun.

At a certain moment after my short debate with the Chinese, I decided to break the ice with the next people saying this: "How does it feel to lose the whole day in Omegle, knowing that time won't come back? Carpe Diem!". Two shut down, one decided to get out and one called me emo; after that I closed the computer and walked the dog.

But seriously, what's the point of Omegle?

Well all though most of it is crap, you can occasionally stumble upon someone reasonable.

I once went to Omegle and talked a little. It ended with a new user coming to AF, and later ToS :D

Its entirely for the entertainment of messing with most of the user base who are looking for cyberz.

The few times i've chatted on Omegle it's been nothing but a/s/l or people trying to troll you. But I did have a good convo with somebody from Australia about immigration one time. So it's just luck to get somebody that's mature I guess...

But whatever you do, DO NOT use video chat. EVER.

Yeah i've heard bad things about chatroulette

So have I. It's basically like omegle, except the "asl?" people are actually on the screen. Doing weird things.

Other than that, it's pretty cool:

I've used it a few times. Sometimes I get completely uninteresting people I really don't want to talk to, but have had a few semi-interesting conversations there.
