Avatar 5-CD Set
 

I have happened upon a 5-disk (yes five) version of Avatar. If you thought Woodsprite's release needed a bit of cleanup to put things in order, this makes Woodsprite's original look retail-polished. Tracks are out of order, unnamed and in general a giant mess.

Why is this five disks? Because there is a lot of unused material (alternates, just plain recorded-and-not-used)! The caveat: it's only 64kbps. I am not the source. I do not know the source personally or via the internet. I have no ability to compel him to release a higher-quality version but as soon as it becomes available you can bet I will make it available for ToS.

Yes this is music, and other stuff too. There are many tracks with alternates (for example a different version of the scene where Mo'at tries to transfer Grace into her Avatar).

Another member here is going to try to upsample the tracks to make them sound better than the 64kbps they currently are.

I've also heard of the 5-disc version, but I didn't know it was in such low quality! :( I never looked for it since the last two discs were just alternate recordings (like what you mentioned) and some piano mock-ups (I heard).

I haven't listened to the whole thing yet so I have no idea what's in it. There is a higher quality version but the guy who has it is being less-than-nice about releasing it.

Got it, and very little is new, and very little that I don't know about. HOWEVER, I found a few tracks (unused ones) that were quite interesting and intriguing. So... I guess this is like an advertisement for asking Sovereign for the 5-disc version. Here's a sample song I really enjoyed a lot from the 5-disc version (I just uploaded it):

Another thing, there were two tracks in particular that were a part of the score that weren't included in the 3-disc version, so I updated the version I have (in case anyone cares ;)).
