3rd Week Blu-ray Sales + Info on Sequel
 

For a third week in a row, Avatar has been the #1 selling blu-ray

Also, without any spoilers, James Cameron has estimated it will take roughly 3 years to complete the sequel (18 months less than the first). It's expected to hear a release date for the sequel in the upcoming months.

Cant wait to hear when the sequel's coming out but that also tells me the epic waiting we'll have to do!

3 years is going to be a looong wait for us avid fans. However, I say take your time Mr. Cameron. We want a movie that's on par with the first or even better! :)

Even better? How is that possible? Avatar is already a perfect movie. :P

James Cameron can pull it off. If anyone can make a movie superior to Avatar, it is James Cameron himself. :)

This is correct. Let us be reminded that James Cameron has also made two of the best sequels in movie history.

T2 is the best sequel made because T1 was nothing compared to it's sequel.

Unless people think Avatar 1 is crap then it's going to be pretty hard to top it with a sequel. No doubt the sequel will be awesome, but I dont think it'll be better than Avatar, just my opinion though. Just because JC knows how to make good sequels doesnt mean his magic works on all stories.

For sure, Avatar is as good as it gets in my books. I'll be happy if it's on par with the first but am also skeptical on whether or not it'll be better.

I have a feeling it'll be pretty good. I have no idea if it will bring back Avatar depression or not and who knows, JC could surprise me and pull out an extremely awesome sequel, better than Avatar.

I think it's hard to be certain, even right now, 3 or 4 years from it's release.

Great news to hear that Avatar is still selling strong.

And am glad that the sequel is on its way.

So glad the blu-ray and dvd has sold well, proving to those doubters that 3-D isnt needed. Its just a good story and good movie!

Yeah even another year is a long wait, but i would rather wait if it means JC does it right and it gets made closer to the story :)

Here's a little reminder that should lighten the load on the wait time until Avatar 2.
