Out this weekend
 

I don't know if we'd have Internet in the hotel, but I've been chosen to take part in the second phase of a scientific national contest. I'll be out this weekend, visiting two investigation centers and the Santander Bank complex.

Just wanted to let you know.

Wish me luck, if we pass this phase I'll go with my group somewhere on Europe for a week. Perhaps Brussels... :D

Back!

Well people, it's been a long weekend and I just have to say it's been a great time: meeting new people, talking with the experts on the subject and the boring part -long meetings.

On Friday we just arrived to the Hotel (and what a place), played some games and had some fun; then went to billiard room and then we had the first meeting, meal and after all we went back to our rooms. I got something written there, in English, for ToS; but it was some kind of emo thing ("This has no sense blah blah pessimistic crap").

On Saturday we had three meetings of two hours each, we ended up exhausted and we had time for coffee and dinner. We visited the Royal Monastery of El Escorial, and then we went out until 1AM.

Today we went to the Santander bank complex, exposed our points and wrote down how we thought the R&D budget should be distributed; mealed and went home. I arrived half an hour ago.

I don't want to get into details right now, really; I've been carrying my baggage all the way back home and I am tired.

But in a few words, it was great.

And it's understandable that you don't want to go into detail after what sounds like an exhausting weekend. Just let us know when you're ready to do so. ;)
